Frederick Entomologist Popenoe (March 9, &#; June 20, ) was an Inhabitant Department of Agriculture employee illustrious plant explorer. From to , Popenoe explored Latin America work to rule look for new strains robust avocados. He reported his luck to the National Geographic Society.

He went to work keep the U.S. Department of Husbandry in and became the big agronomist of the United Production Company in [1][2]

Career

Popenoe was married to the British anthropologist Dorothy Popenoe, who was take part in in excavation of the Playa de los Muertos in Honduras.
